About our Client:
Our client, a leader in the coffee industry, is in search of a Specification Writer to join its Scarborough team.
Job Title: Specification Writer
Key responsibilities include:
-Create/modify technical documents.
-Creating 3D BIM models for the company’s database.
-Produce plumbing specifications for technical manual and website.
-Provide technical information about products to mechanical engineers, architects, and interior designers.
-Provide telephone customer support for specifications and company applications.
Regular Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Requirements:
-College/University Diploma/Degree required.
-Experience writing specifications for the mechanical and architectural profession and for the construction industry.
-Must have an understanding of building codes.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills – fluency in English.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Professional demeanor and appearance.
Acrobat Professional/Microsoft Office.
AutoCAD/Revit.
-Mechanical Engineering background is preferred.
-Mechanically inclined with knowledge of plumbing is preferred.
-Available to start immediately.
Salary: $30,000-35,000
